Stranger Things: How to run up that hill with BWRT®

Stranger Things is a successful science fiction horror TV drama that centres around numerous supernatural events with a young cast who investigate. It has received numerous awards and been praised for its characterisation, atmosphere, soundtrack and acting. Alongside the horror are nostalgic moments and humour, and this balances the darker storylines.
I have been interested in the ensemble of characters who all work together to overcome the fears that they face collectively and individually, and in this last series particularly – when a young female character is being controlled by dark memories from her past.
She discovers that the way to nullify the fear is to think of a happy memory and to block out the fear by listening to her favourite sound track (Kate Bush “Running up that hill”). The track has been a significant part of this fourth season and is used in such a positive way that it becomes a talisman for the character who is struggling with her fear.
In my work I help clients to re-frame their bad memories with a therapy called BWRT® (BrainWorking Recursive Therapy). Between a subconscious trigger and a response, there is a space, and in that space we can apply a better feeling – something that is empowering and calming to block out the fear.
When we are frightened or traumatised our brains act instinctively with the fight or flight response. BWRT® is able to get into that cognitive gap and stop the fear in its tracks and put a new calm response in place.
BWRT® is a completely logical, practical therapy and only needs you to know what you want to change in your life for it to be completely successful. It is a more effective therapy than anything that has existed to date and dissolves problems and fears almost instantaneously.
Bad memories and past events that have destroyed your confidence or are still affecting your present, can be released. It works for common fears and phobias as well as more complex anxiety disorders, PTSD, relationship issues and bereavement. That better feeling, or preferred response that replaces the original trauma then creates a positive and calm reaction going forward.
BWRT® works quickly and is life changing. I should know, because I have benefitted from it myself. So, if something is troubling you or holding you back, then why not give it a try? If you would like to find out more about how it can help you to release yourself from a bad experience in your past, then do get in touch with me for a free 15 minute chat. Then you too can be “running up that hill with no problems.”
